Personal Data Processing
Data collected by GLOBAL through the sending of CVs, job profile interviews or referrals from third parties, such as name, surname, place and date of birth, tax code, telephone number, postal address, educational qualifications and other personal identification data, sent in connection with any vacant positions or spontaneous applications, fall into the category of “personal data” under Article 4, (1) and (15) of the GDPR. Such data will be processed exclusively for the purpose of assessing the abilities and professional skills of applicants, according to the vacant position, and for which a selection procedure is under way, or for future needs to expand the company’s workforce (recruitment or internships).
Purpose of processing and legal basis
The personal data of those who send their CV spontaneously or as a result of a job search are processed:
- for the recruitment and selection of personnel or for proposing other job offers consistent with the applicant’s professional profile (pre-contractual obligations);
- for the fulfilment of specific obligations or for performing specific tasks provided for by laws, regulations or EU legislation (legal obligation).
The provision of personal data for the aforementioned purposes is required in order to complete the specific function on the website and correctly send applications so that applicants may participate in any recruitment processes. In order to send their application correctly, applicants must give their consent to the processing of any special categories of data. Any special data provided will only be processed with prior consent of the applicant. Without this the applicant will not be able to send his/her data for recruitment purposes. Recipients of personal data
The personal data processed will not be disclosed but will be communicated to specific persons, such as GLOBAL staff specifically authorised to process the data. On the basis of their roles and duties, staff are authorised to process data within the limits of their competence and in accordance with the instructions given by the Data Controller. The same data may be communicated to subjects entitled to access them in accordance with legal provisions, regulations and rules.
Methods of data retention
The data will be processed manually, electronically and by computer using methods strictly related to the purposes for which the data is processed and, in any case, in compliance with the provisions of Article 32 of the GDPR concerning security measures.
